On the way to Thredbo a long time ago I discovered the Monaro Range. Barren grasslands, rocks, cloudy expansive skies, dotted dams and carved out rivers. The ever changing colour of the Monaro Range is absolutely inspiring. The cloud shadows over the basalt rich land, the wheat coloured native grass, the harsh climate, and colour transitions – it ignites a yearning in me to return and return and paint and paint.
