Iridescent Ocean

While painting these absract seascapes I like to relate the feeling of the translucent waves washing over the rocks and sand, recreating the iridescent foam on the shoreline and the cloudy skyline. I paint with a palette knife and layer thick artists’ oil paint. I aim to paint the feelings of ebb and flow, the gentle movement of the sea, inner peace and solitude through my seascapes.
