Sunrise Over Sea

I am a keen walker – I love the beach, waterways, national parks and nature reserves. This painting was from an experience of just that – fresh air, sunrise, and all the colours that invigorate me. The beauty of light on water inspire my creative being. This painting depicts the reflection of the early morning sun on the water. I have used iridescent pigments mixed into the paint to create the feeling of the bright sparkling light.
