Harbour Pool (Canvas Print)

I grew up in Fairlight. I lived close to the Fairlight ocean pool and beach. After living in Melbourne for six years and then overseas for ten years – I returned to Fairlight and live there now. This abstract oil painting depicts the sand and rocky area around the pool; the shells and creatures found in and around the harbour and rockpools. Thick paint straight from the tube and palette knife textural automatic markings. A place I call home.
