The dam at a friend’s farm in the Colo River area goes off like a symphony of frogs at midnight – a total cacophony – we had to go outside with spotlights to take a look at what all the commotion was about. Little frogs everywhere on lily pads and reed stems. So I painted this watercolour on returning to the studio.
