Morning Sky Reflection

‘The morning sky in the desert lights up the land & everything shines like gold. The rich desert red dirt looks even brighter and the early morning has a clarity. Camping beside a river recently filled with water I painted this as a sketch and worked on it back in the studio – I liked the way the blue contrasted with the orange and reds.’ ~ Candyss
