Pink Forest (Paper Print)

New morning pink sky fills the air around me as I walk the forest floor creating new colours of pinks, oranges, blues and purples. The trees beside me, ahead of me, around me. The forest breathes and I breathe with it, deeply. No two trees are the same. Each with a story. The shadows of the night past are still visible on the forest floor. The forest knows me and understands me. Back in the studio I use thick textural oil paint with palette knife. Layering new colours created with iridescent pigments. I paint from memory. The thick bark. Reflected colours.
