Spiritual BBQ

This painting was an experimentation and one of the first in the series Candyss painted around the time of the birth of her son. The ebb and flow of life is depicted in the the play of colour, movement and spontaneous approach that Candyss uses here. The materials are used in an abstract expressionist style and the use of ash, sand, and drizzled enamel paint all add to the painting’s success.
