Beachlines

I love the beach. I have always lived next to the beach and I’ve always been a keen walker. Each morning I walk along the beach, through bushland, and the national park above Manly Beach. I find calm and peace in the waves, the light and the smell of the ocean. I get creative inspiration in wide open places. This abstract oil painting was painted one summer after long days in the sun, on the golden sand beaches of the Northern Beaches and bright blue summer sky days.
